Hi All,
I'm having a problem getting dhcp to work correctly
with netreg-1.3rc2 on a fedora box. I set the server
up on an external network with the server and a
Windows 2000 laptop connected with a 4 port ethernet
switch. Gave the server a legitimate IP address and a
virtual IP of 1.1.1.1. Everything works as it should.
Laptop gets the correct IP, Gateway, DNS server etc.
When I connected both computers to our real network
the laptop won't keep an IP address. The error on the
laptop is:
The following error occurred when renewing adapter
Local Area Connection: The DHCP client obtained an IP
address that is already in use on the network.
I don't think any 1.1.1.x addresses are being used on
my network unless they are some special ip's or
something. I have inserted all of my config files and
the system log below. Thanks in advance for all the
help.
