Hello Everyone,

It's that time of year again, when we trying to pull together those last minute projects before incoming students arrive. I pray you all get your projects finished (or at least finished enough so it's functional).

I was hoping someone could help me from the netreg collective mind with a problem I am experiencing and perhaps those have or are currently experencing. I punched a whole into the db.root file to allow one host to resolve my name from the netreg.

This is what the line looks like in the db.root file.

mail.rochester.edu 86400 IN A 128.151.224.17

And the link I am using on the main page is:
 https://mail.rochester.edu:444/sslcgi-bin/netid/netid/form

However, I am receiving complaints from users that they cannot connect to the linked page - their broswer times out. I tried it myself and from some machines I can see the page, from others I get the time out error which is isolated to a particular subnet.

Does anyone know what can be causing this problem?

I'm really in a bind here (just like everyone else) and need some help. Thank you for your time.
