That would be too cool. If you'd zip them up and get to me, I'd like to
kinda test it out here.
What are the software requirements? WIndows? Linux? What about
hardware? I have a
server at my disposale to make this work.
Thanks in advance

Michael,
We looked at Netreg for a while, and while it is a great product,
eventually we decided to use CNR as our DNS/DHCP solution. We
contacted
Boston College to talk to them regarding their use of CNR + a custom
Java
solution to do MAC registration, and they sent us their code to play
with
(http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/nemnsw/nerr/profiles/bosco_cp.htm).
It didn't quite meet our needs, so we had a consultant do some
modifications to it. I'd be happy to send you a copy of both to look
at/use.

HELP...
I'm attempting to set up a NETREG box. I have loaded Linux and now I'm
at
the
point in the instructions to tell my DNS (Cisco's Network Registrar)
server
that the Linux box is
a BOGUS Server. Does anyone know of a way in the CLI to make this
happen?
Also, on another subject,
Do I have to have all the students switchport assigments set
statically?
Right now, they are all
set to dynamic VLAN, and I have to enter the MAC addresses within the
DHCP
database (also Cisco's
Network Registrar) to determine their rerspective scope (subnet/VLAN)
