Michael,
We looked at Netreg for a while, and while it is a great product,
eventually we decided to use CNR as our DNS/DHCP solution. We contacted
Boston College to talk to them regarding their use of CNR + a custom Java
solution to do MAC registration, and they sent us their code to play with
(http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/nemnsw/nerr/profiles/bosco_cp.htm).
It didn't quite meet our needs, so we had a consultant do some
modifications to it. I'd be happy to send you a copy of both to look
at/use.

HELP...
I'm attempting to set up a NETREG box. I have loaded Linux and now I'm at
the
point in the instructions to tell my DNS (Cisco's Network Registrar) server
that the Linux box is
a BOGUS Server. Does anyone know of a way in the CLI to make this happen?
Also, on another subject,
Do I have to have all the students switchport assigments set statically?
Right now, they are all
set to dynamic VLAN, and I have to enter the MAC addresses within the DHCP
database (also Cisco's
Network Registrar) to determine their rerspective scope (subnet/VLAN)
