Ricardo,
You are right on the money!! I recompile Nessus with SSL disabled and it
is zooming.
I thought I had SSL enable at the Perl side, but apparently I had it
wrong.
Can you give some pointers on how to enable it?

I never actually tried the 'nessusc' script. But I did try the perl
scripts and the cgi in the examples dir from the distro.
Make sure that you enable SSL as chances are that's enabled on your
nessusd server.
