Hello,
We have implemented Netreg on our student subnets of a total of about 1000
computers. I am running into several problems with the Netreg 1.3rc4
Graphical User Interface. I will explain the things I would like to
accomplish with some type of UI and maybe somebody can point me to some
existing solutions for my needs.
1) I'd like to list all the currently leased IP addresses within a given
subnet. This can be currently accomplished using the "Lease Manager" screen
in Netreg 1.3rc4. However, the Lease Manager list all the IP leases from the
DHCP lease database for the given MAC address, instead displaying jus the
most recent (only valid) one.
2) I'd also like to be able to sort the listings, that are retrieved by the
Lease Manager by different fields such as IP address, lease obtained date,
lease expired date.
I realize that some of the statistical functionality can be implemented on
the level of the DHCP server itself. Hence I have implemented a CGI GUI for
viewing basic stats of the ISC configuration and lease database based on an
open source project.
1) Maybe some of you can point me to some better GUI applications that can
be used to administer/view stats of the ISC DHCP server?
2) Does a DHCP GUI exist for X-Windows? Has anybody used it?
Thanks in advance.
