We're doing netreg on a wired lan for our res halls. The way I did this was since we're using internal ip addreses for our dorms I made each res hall a /23 with the bottom /24 being unrouted on our
reznet core router and not allowed to leave that router and then the top half is routed. This was the best way for our setup since our all res halls are on seperate vlans. I also did some bind
hacking to use views to redirect a user coming from one vlan to right virtual ip on the dhcp server for the registration page. THrough doing the above, we can do some cool things like use PHP in
conjunction with netreg and know exactly what building the user is coming from.
