My second response is to just comment the call of the authenticate()
function in register.cgi. But, then you have no way of being sure if
the
username is even a valid thing to enter into the dhcpd.conf file. If
somebody put their full name (with a space) or used a #, dhcpd would
fail
upon restarting.

My first response is why you would run NetReg at all? If you don't care

who is on your network, just use a plain-old DHCP server.
