Patrick,

Thank you for your help, once again :)

I am not to clear on what you were trying to explain... i used your
startup script, and i double checked that the lines were as you listed
below, but when you say:

You need to start /usr/sbin/dhcpd with the "-cf" to be able to specify a
different path for the dhcpd.conf file. The default is /etc. Example:

     /usr/sbin/dhcpd -cf /etc/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf -lf
/var/state/dhcp/dhcpd.leases

i am not sure what file i have to make sure this is correct in.. is it the
startup script? If so, every thing seems the way it should be... i am now
using the one you attached in your last message.. and still when i try to
start dhcpd i get the error can't find file in /etc, but if i copy my conf
file to /etc everything works wonderfully... i was thinking i could add
something to my refresh script to over write /etc/dhcpd/dhcpd.conf to
/etc/dhcpd.conf.. i guess that would work, but i would like to get our netreg
working exactly the way it should be working... thanks again for all of your
help.
