53:udp to that list

(Would he need 53:tcp also, this is for DNS requests)

Alright, Good. I'll give you a few steps.

As root type 'setup'
Go to 'Firewall Configuration'
Tab over to 'Customize'
Add 443:tcp and 80:tcp and whatever else you think you need to allow.
