Hello,
I am configuring a new netreg system, but I made it a bit different
from the how-to. I am having trouble getting the dhcpd.conf.new to
update, even when a registered client says it has successfully
registered and it is time to reboot. Here are the specs of the system,
also I will provide any logs requested.
OS = Gentoo grsec 2.4.x kernel
Apache 2.0.47
DHCP 3.0_p2
Bind 9.2.2-r2 - it is chrooted
Netreg 1.3
Apache, DHCP and Bind are installed using gentoo's package management
tool, emerge. I far as I can tell, I reconfigured all variables in all
the different places, including variables.pl to point to the right
files. For example, my dhcp is at /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf. The changes
reflect this. Netreg just never seems to append the information to the
DHCPDCONF.new. I hope that explains my problem, any suggestions.
Thanks,
Ben Parker
