My understanding is that the enterprise version will be available to
academic institutions at a discounted rate of $25 per license annually
or $2500 for an annual site license if that helps.

Just a note:

Redhat still offers a free version, called Fedora. They've effectively
separated their product line. There is no longer a single version of
RedHat, but two versions now. The paid "enterprise" version, titled
RedHat, and the free version called fedora.

What is everyone's take on RedHat now that their software is no longer
free. I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with my existing
Netreg box which is running on RedHat 7.3.

I am trying to get ramped up on Debian linux. Will Netreg work with
Debian?
