CIDR kit, or not? The subnet.dat file has a slightly different format,
depending.

It's used in the administrative component. In the CIDR kit, the subnet
overview page produces a graph showing how many clients are registered
for each subnet, how many have active leases, and a total of how many
unregistered clients have active leases. The subnet.dat file provides
the necessary information for this to happen.
