I decided to take the plunge and I've written a complete mySQL backend for netreg1.3rc2(CIDR) using Net::MySQL. It was far easier that I thought it would be!
Now, I'm having trouble re-writing register.cgi::append_host_entry() and admin.cgi to look at / update the database instead of using dhcpd.conf.new.
Does anyone have a super-commented append_host_entry() / admin.cgi that I can use to learn from and add the necessary functionality?
