Jennifer.
Make a copy of the admin.cgi file, call it something else, and give the
helpdesk permission to view it.
Then, in that new copy of the admin.cgi file, find the following lines, and
remove them.
print "<A HREF=\"$ADMINPATH/admin.cgi\?action=FL\&";
print "USER=$USER\&MAC=$MAC\"";
print " onClick=\"ConfirmDelete(\'$ADMINPATH/admin.cgi";
print "\?action=FL\&USER=$USER\&MAC=$MAC\',\'$MAC\',\'$USER\')\; ";
print "return false\;\">";
print "<IMG SRC=$GFX/netreg-del.gif border=0></A></TD></TR>\n";

Subject: NetReg: admin.cgi-- no delete!
Hi All,
I would like to deploy a "pared down" copy of admin.cgi for our Help
Desk staff to access. I don't want them to be able to remove user
entries from DHCP but I do want them to be able to see who's
registered, subnet overview etc..
Does anyone know which lines I need to remove from the admin.cgi copy
to remove the "Delete User" button and its functionality?
thanks,
Jennifer
