We use allow unknown clients and deny unknown clients. No "-"'s. We
have no problems. We are using the most current version of the ISC DHCP
server.

Subject: NetReg: DHCP and documentation...
I noticed in the docs for Netreg that the option "allow unknown clients"
and
"deny unknown clients" is stated and spelled that way every time.
However,
the statement is wrong. The correct statements are "allow
unknown-clients"
and "deny unknown-clients", at least for ISC DHCPD server.
Just an FYI, in case anyone else gets tripped up by this. I am having a
problem with DHCP handing out addresses to the wrong group of machines,
but
I have posted that to the DHCP server mailing list...
Thanks!
