I'm not an authority on this, but I know that it is the username of the
person used to authenticate with.
But I wonder if you are asking the question whether it should be the
hostname of the PC.
If that's your question, you could easily code it yourself, but you run the
risk of some bad DNS name showing up. (I'm in a college environment also,
they use some pretty nasty computer names in the dorms)
