I've gotten netreg to the point where I can authenticate against my
username/password and it creates the host entry in dhcpd.conf.new. However
when the cron job copies it to dhcpd.conf and restarts it, it has to revert
to the old conf file because the new is "BAD".

By looking at the file, it looks like register.cgi is writing out the host
entry with "ETHERNET" in the place where the MAC address of my ethernet
card should be. Anyone else seen this or know what is going on? I took a
look at the script but couldn't put my finger on what is going wrong.

host merkel { hardware ethernet ETHERNET ; }#Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE
5.01;
  Windows 95; METALINK-IE40)#20010104 11:43:19#208.231.41.50
