Steve-

The majority of systems here at DePaul University are Win95/98 systems,
and I have never run into either problem of them not releasing there IP
address and DNS servers either using winipcfg or a reboot...

We do state to the user to do a reboot... but personally when I'm out
registering machines, I just do a release renew and it has worked 100% of
the time. The only thing is Netscape won't recognize the change until you
close it and reopen it...

Who actually does what they tell there students to do?? :) It's kinda
like reading the manual BEFORE you install the software... C'mon.. no one
does that do they???

Still when it comes down to it, I've never had a single problem with the
system!
